Nothing is quite so Minnesotan as a family cabin in the North Woods. Tucked away near the lakeside, we visited the place Andy proposed to Shannon. Having a private space to photograph couples, especially one that means so much to them creates a real sense of intimacy and specialness. This is their space and I’m being invited in to share something with them. I’m enamored with this idea of place and it is a philosophy i will carry close to me moving forward.
